They are seeking to appoint a Sales Manager who will be responsible for developing, leading and executing an aggressive sales strategy in Europe. Reporting to the EVP for EMEA, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a 5-person sales team.

You must be self-motivated and a strong team player. Ideally you will have managed a successful sales team, but more importantly you will have an exemplary track record as a salesperson in your own right with experience selling complex solutions into the largest financial organisations. A good understanding of data technologies is required as is a willingness to work evenings and weekends where necessary to accommodate client deadlines and time zone differences.

  • Manage and coach 5 sales staff, growing the sales team to fulfil the EMEA strategy
  • Manage the sales process including metrics for pipeline value and makeup
  • Participate in business planning, setting and communicating sales targets
  • Review and drive sales results to ensure targets are being achieved
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts
  • Evaluate competitor and market activity
  • Create a strong team ethic and camaraderie with other company staff
  • Engender a sense of pride in the company and its success

    Can you demonstrate:

  • A strong academic background with a good degree or equivalent qualification
  • A track record of recent personal success in large scale Enterprise Sales into Financial Services selling USD >500,000 complex deals into Tier 1 organisations
  • The ability to manage a sale towards a successful commercial and contractual closure
  • Outstanding consultative sales capabilities
