Job Description:

We are seeking a business development manager who will be responsible for strengthening our client's brand awareness in the funds industry. You will be working on new and existing business opportunities in the Asset Servicing and Asset Management industry in North America. Based either remotely or out of one of our client's offices in the US, we looking for someone who can run and manage the end to end sales cycle from initial interest, through any RFI / RFP process, proof of concept, commercial negotiation through to contract signature leveraging our client's industry and technology experts as well as executive management as required. This is a senior sales role and you will be responsible for managing all aspects of contractual negotiations and relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new opportunities in the Asset Servicing and Asset Management market within French speaking Europe.
  • Identify new opportunities within existing accounts
  • Project manage the end to end sales cycle from initial interest, through any RFI / RFP process, proof of concept, commercial negotiation through to contract signature leveraging our client's industry and technology experts as well as executive management
  • Be able to explain the conceptual and practical value of our client's software to potential new clients
  • Consistently build relations and share knowledge with our client's executive account management, product management and support teams.
  • Manage and retain existing clients and identify upsell opportunities

    Requirements

  • You are likely to have a Bachelors' degree or post graduate qualification with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience out of which at least 4 years in a sales or account management position in the Financial and Funds Industry.
  • A financial services and / or technology background is preferred.
  • An excellent communicator at all levels
  • A creative problem solver - if something fails, you'll always ask 'what else can I do'?
  • Naturally inquisitive- keen to know everything about your clients
  • Tenacious - persistent in your approach to new business, not easily discouraged
  • Entrepreneurial - willing to take risks and always hungry for a new challenge
  • Genuinely motivated by financial reward
  • Highly motivated, driven and well-organised, particularly since you will often be required to work to tight deadlines.
