Job Description:
We are seeking a Global Business Development Manager for a London based role covering the UK and Ireland buy side with a Fintech100 software vendor. They provide fund accounting, portfolio accounting, investor servicing and transfer agency solutions and manage assets for both traditional and alternative funds in more than 30 countries. Their clients include the world's leading global custodians, third-party administrators, insurance companies and asset managers.
As the successful candidate, you will be working on new business opportunities in the Asset Servicing and Asset Management industry. You will work closely with the marketing team to generate new business opportunities and identify new sales opportunities within your existing accounts. You will need to be able to manage the end to end sales cycle from initial interest, through any RFI / RFP process, proof of concept, commercial negotiation to contract signature leveraging our client's industry and technology experts and their executive management as required. You will be managing and growing existing accounts and working on new business opportunities in the Asset Servicing and Asset Management industry.
Day to day you will be responsible for:
Generating new business opportunities and building new relationships within the market
Project managing the sales cycle from initial interest, through any RFI / RFP process, proof of concept, commercial negotiation to contract signature
Explaining the conceptual and practical value of our client's software to potential new clients
Building relations and sharing knowledge across the company with executives, other account managers, product managers and support teams
Our client would like to meet with candidates who have:
A financial services or software technology vendor background
A degree or post graduate qualification
A minimum of 4 years' experience in a sales position in the Financial Software and Funds Industry
Excellent communication and networking skills
Fluent German and English language skills, both spoken and written
A high level of motivation for significant financial reward
Excellent organisation skills
The ability to work to tight deadlines
