Job Description:

We're seeking a Senior Sales Manager to take ownership of 20 to 25 of our client's Enterprise and Mid-Market Accounts. This company is renowned for their expertise in managing complex business challenges in information management, messaging, unified communication and collaboration. They have a strong focus on Symantec, Veritas and Microsoft technologies, and have the highest levels of accreditation with all three.

They host and manage their client's infrastructure, focusing on critical business systems, either on-premise or in the cloud. Their Service Management Centre operates globally to provide a 360-degree view of the health, performance and availability of systems 24 x 7 x 365, for customers across the UK, Europe the US and Australia.
These accounts are split across verticals, and the role is focused on increasing revenues from them. It is a hands-on client-facing role, and our client is looking for candidates with 5+ years' experience who have a good track record of achievement against target. The role is suited to someone who understands the Microsoft, Veritas or Symantec software portfolio, specifically around cloud technologies.
As the successful candidate, you will have ownership of a personal sales target and responsibility for:
  • Managing 20 to 25 Mid-Market and Enterprise Accounts
  • Selling complex solutions to customers from the entire portfolio
  • Delivering against Gross Margin contribution targets
  • Establishing relationships with existing Strategic Partners and Alliances
  • Maintaining and developing a Territory Sales Plan
  • Managing sales opportunities through the entire sales cycle
  • Maintaining key account plans and taking a global view of your accounts
  • Keeping abreast of the competition and what they are offering

    Our client would like to meet with candidates who have:

  • 5+ years direct IT sales experience
  • A good track record of achievement against targets
  • Knowledge of Microsoft, Veritas or Symantec cloud technologies
  • Excellent all-round communication and listening skills
  • The ability to work independently without high levels of management
  • Top notch relationship building skills
  • A positive outlook and a willingness to help others
