Job Description:

We're seeking an Account Director with experience of managing high value blue chip customer accounts in the Hospitality and Catering sectors. This is a fascinating opportunity with a software product that not only saves their clients a lot of money, but also makes a significant positive contribution to the environment.
This company solves one of the biggest issues facing the hospitality industry by significantly reducing food waste. An astonishing one third of food is wasted between the farm and the plate. Using our client's artificial intelligence software can reduce wastage by up to 50%. It's a $1 Trillion problem worldwide!
They have a long list of Blue-Chip clients and are looking for an experienced Account Director to manage and grow their biggest and most strategically important global account. Reporting to the Commercial Director, you'll be responsible for developing account strategy and identifying growth opportunities. This is a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a team who love what they do and set out each morning to address one of the biggest social problems of our generation by:

  • Developing account strategies to scale and grow a high-profile global account
  • Nurturing existing relationships to ensure retention and improve account performance
  • Anticipating customer trends and assess your customer's ongoing needs
  • Evidencing the ROI and create proposals to build on past successes
  • Developing deep commercial relationships with key influencers
  • Managing and resolve any account issues or conflicts
  • Acting as the key communications interface between the customer and internal teams
  • Assisting in developing the Account Management function

    Our client would like to meet candidates who love building customer relationships and who have:

  • Experience in Large Account Management, ideally with a technology or software product
  • Proven skills in growing enterprise accounts globally
  • Experience managing accounts in the hospitality industry
  • A degree level education
  • A high level of comfort taking ownership and accountability for your work
  • Excellent communication, presentation and listening skills
  • A solid grasp of financial analysis to build clear business case for your customers
