Job Description:

We're seeking an Account Manager for a fast-growing London based technology company, selling their software solution across sector. Their speciality is making employee background checking quicker, easier and more effective, with a unique software product in a market that generally relies on outsourcing. Working with a start-up mentality, they are ambitious, driven by success and seeking someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to join their team. This company is flying out of the blocks and growing rapidly.
Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing existing accounts. Proactive account management is critical to their ongoing success and their ideal candidate will either have Account Management or Customer Success Manager experience in a software / technology business or knowledge of the screening, vetting or compliance industries. Day to day you will be responsible for:

  • Managing existing SME customer accounts, including relationship building, client retention and growing existing business
  • Providing excellent customer service and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Resolving customer problems efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Preventing software cancellations and competitor infiltration into your accounts
  • Supporting the sales and marketing team in meetings and new business campaigns
  • Understanding the competitive environment

    Our client would like to meet with candidates who can demonstrate:

  • A minimum of 2 years Account Management or Customer Success Management experience in a software or technology business or with direct experience of employee screening and vetting
  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholders of varying seniority
  • Knowledge of any of the following industry sectors would be useful; recruitment, aviation, transport or financial services
  • Knowledge of software within screening, vetting or compliance management would be amazing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
