Job Description:

We're seeking a UK Sales Manager with experience of selling software solutions into HR to work for a fast-growing London based technology company, selling software solutions into HR across sector. They sell a unique software product to HR Managers and HR Directors across the UK. In this role you will carry your own personal sales target as well as manage a small but growing sales team.

Working with a start-up mentality, they are ambitious, driven by success and seeking someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves to join their team. This would be a tremendous career opportunity for a New Business sales specialist or Team Leader seeking to further their sales career.

Due to our client's growth, they are creating this new role of UK Sales Manager, reporting to the Worldwide Sales Director. They are seeking someone who has familiarity selling HR, HCM, HRIS or Recruitment software solutions. They are an ambitious, fast moving and agile company seen as a disrupter in their sector where day to day your job will be to:

  • Manage and lead the UK Sales Team
  • Carry your own target and follow up new business opportunities
  • Plan and deliver sales presentations
  • Own the sales process from lead generation through to contract negotiation and close
  • Oversee the development of marketing literature
  • Provide management with updates on opportunities
  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and which market strategies can be used to attract clients
  • Follow the latest industry developments and stay up to date on competitors

    Our client would like to meet with candidates who can demonstrate:

  • 5+ years success in achieving sales targets and driving growth in B2B software sales
  • Team leadership experience would be valuable but is not essential
  • A network of HR contacts and a track record of selling into HR
  • The ability to communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the emphasis on priorities and goal setting
  • Superior presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The capability to understand client requirements and propose products or solutions
  • The ability to work independently
  • A strong commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development
  • Good problem-solving skills with a close eye for detail
