Job Description:

We're seeking a Business Development Manager with a New Business Sales focus to join our FinTech client at what is an exciting and important time in their growth. They've built and deployed an innovative software product to automate and streamline the process of customer onboarding, compliance and audit.
They offer a SaaS platform giving SME financial services companies the ability to manage the regulation required and risk involved in Customer onboarding. This saves their clients time, money, and complexity.
The company is scaling up at speed to hit ambitious revenue targets and they are looking to add to their sales team. You'll need to have experience selling into FCA Regulated firms and have managed multi-stakeholder sales processes into organisations of up to 1,000 employees. A good understanding of Compliance, Risk Management, KYC or AML is also required. Day to day you will:-

  • Own and manage the sales process from lead generation through to contract signature
  • Involve subject matter experts when necessary to ensure our client has the best chance of winning every opportunity
  • Take responsibility for all client presentations, proposals, win strategies and RFPs
  • Build strategic relationships with the client base to identify new initiatives
  • Manage all commercial and contract negotiations with your prospects
  • Maintain good industry knowledge of Compliance, KYC, AML and Regulation issues
  • Assist in marketing related activities where required: conference participation, sales collateral production, industry events

    Our client would like to meet with ambitious sales professionals who can demonstrate:

  • Experience of new business sales into FCA regulated firms with a good track record of achieving revenue targets
  • A good understanding of Compliance, KYC, AML and associated regulation
  • The ability to sell consultatively
  • Good lead generation skills
  • A strong commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development
  • Excellent presentation, communication and organisational skills
  • Degree level education
