Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager with a good record of sales achievement against target selling high value software solutions into the Asset Management & Wealth Management community in the UK and Europe. Based in Central London, you will be responsible for new business sales into Tier 1 buy side organisations, closing sales in excess of USD 1Million. This role is a sole contribution position and we are seeking someone who has carried and achieved a personal multi-million-dollar target for the last 3 or more years.

This is a process driven company and the role requires someone who understands that process is key to successful sales. They have built a technology platform for the investment community with the ability to easily customise an end-to-end digital experience for their customers using simple Apps. Well-established in the USA, they serve a wide range of investment managers, wealth advisors, large family offices, pension funds, hedge fund administrators and independent wealth platforms. Their European customer base is growing fast, and they are seeking to address the same markets across Europe.

  • Leading the entire sales cycle into Tier 1 organisations through lead generation, requirements definition, management of RFIs/RFPs, presentations deal closure
  • Representing the company in important business relationships with major clients, key prospects and suppliers
  • Evaluating and feeding back on competitor activity, market information and client responses
  • Creating a new business pipeline that will allow you to hit your targets
  • Adhering to the company's established sales process
  • Applying best sales practice to manage your pipeline and drive prospects through to closure
  • Reporting accurately on your activities and further developing your knowledge and skills
  • Participating in corporate events, exhibitions and conferences

    Our client would like to interview candidates with:

  • A strong academic background with a good degree level qualification or higher
  • A track record of recent personal success selling large scale Enterprise Sales into the Financial Services sector with deals in excess of USD 1Million into Tier 1 organisations
  • The capability to manage a sale towards a successful commercial and contractual conclusion
  • Significant face to face sales experience with buy side financial services clients
  • A good understanding of cloud and data technologies
  • Proven success against sales targets
  • Good presentation skills and solid skills in qualification and negotiation
  • The desire to over achieve and earn significant financial rewards
